Meet the Team
Lorna, Managing Director
Working in the industry for over 35 years, Lorna is a hands on director who has seen it all. Her door is always open, welcomes new suggestions and she likes to work collaboratively so she can impart her knowledge on the team. In her spare time she loves spending time with her grandchildren, her Springador Bisto, and is often found tending to her garden.
Callum, Finance Director
Recently joining us as our Finance Director, Callum has a wealth of knowledge from his time working for a private equity company. A qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in costings and tenders, he is a great addition to the team. In his spare time he likes spending time with his son and playing cricket when he gets a chance.
Tracy, HR and Office Manager
Tracy has worked at Inter County for over 25 years where she has seen the company significantly grow and diversify. Her HR and administration knowledge makes her a ‘go to’ person for all. She has a respectful and positive approach to everyone and all situations. In her spare time, she loves getting together with family and friends and not forgetting Sidney the whippet.
Yvonne, Accounts Manager
Yvonne joined in 1997 where she took on a roll in the purchase ledger department. Since then, she’s progressed to heading up the accounts team, ensuring correct procedures are followed. Her interests are going to see live music and answering the phone when it’s her tea round!
Gary, Health & Safety and Quality
Gary has worked for Intercounty since 1999 having gained his NEBOSH qualification in 2013. He is also our accreditation and compliance officer which helps ensure quality work is performed across all contracts no matter how big or small. On weekends you will find Gary on the golf course or on a boat sailing down your local river.
Alex, Operations Manager
Alex has been with Inter County since 2015, working his way up from an operative to leading operations. He takes pride in his team’s response time and the company’s value for money, ensuring every customer no matter the size gets the personal treatment. In his spare time Alex likes to watch Peterborough United… We suppose someone has to.
Mark N, Purchasing Manager
Mark has been with the company for over 20 years, overseeing the Janitorial Department and serving as the Purchasing Manager. His role is to ensure that all our purchasing needs are met efficiently, securing the best products at the most competitive prices. Outside of work he enjoys watching his team, Liverpool, however nothing beats spending quality time with the family.
Terena, Sales & Marketing,
Terena has recently joined Inter County bringing along her keen passion for customer service, ensuring every customer, new or old, experiences the customer care they deserve. Terena has also come onboard helping execute our business on social media platforms. You will always see her with a smile on her face which is great in this line of work. Oh and to add Terena adores animals!
Pete, Operatives Team Lead
Having been at Inter County since 2017, having previously worked in transport, Pete is a valuable member of the team organising collections and planning routes to ensure we service all jobs as quickly as possible. Outside of work Pete has an interest in cars, and is often talking about what sport he watched last night.
Paul H, Janitorial sales,
Paul has been at Inter County since 2017, having previously worked in the industry since 2001. Paul is our resident product guru within the Janitorial team ensuring products offered to customers always meet their needs. Outside of work Paul has an interest in cars, (old) music and is often talking about what YouTube rabbit hole he fell down last night!
Marie Connolly, Janitorial Sales Administrator
Marie joined the company in 2013. Looks after janitorial sales, invoicing and responsible for Month End. Spends most of her free time running around for her two sons, Lucas, a keen footballer, and Joseph who is currently learning how to play the viola. Another dog lover, she enjoys nothing more than rolling round the floor with her sausage dog, Millie.
Nicky, Janitorial Sales & Washroom Administrator,
Nicky joined the Company in July 2021. Her voice will often be the first one you hear, but that’s not all. She also processes janitorial orders and provides quotes for our Washroom department. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her Husband, being entertained by their 4 German Shepherd Dogs, and a bit of gardening when the weather allows!
Catherine, Senior Administrator
Catherine has worked in the void cleaning team since 2019, and is often the unsung hero picking up ad hoc tasks with her can do attitude. Her and Pete work side by side ensuring the right person is allocated to the right job. Catherine likes going out on walks with her dog, Dexter; but more important likes baking which always goes down well with the team when she wants to test new recipes.
